Diagnostic Medical Sonography, AAS


The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) associate degree with an abdominal concentration prepares students for careers in medical imaging, focusing specifically on abdominal structures and organs. This program combines coursework with hands-on clinical experience, covering human anatomy, sonographic physics, and imaging techniques. Students learn to operate ultrasound equipment, interpret sonographic images, and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic support, equipping them for certification and careers in hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.
