Program Overview
The Associate in Applied Science in Construction Management provides students with the ability to study the technology and management of construction projects. The curriculum focuses on the latest construction technology, means and methods, and project delivery software, as well as the management principles and processes to support successful construction project delivery.
Graduates of the program can seek employment in general and specialty construction contracting and management firms as an entry-level assistant project manager or project engineer. Students can also transfer their credits to a bachelor’s degree program giving a student the opportunity to continue their education.

The primary purpose of an Associate in Applied Science degree is to prepare students for employment. The AAS degree is not designed specifically for transfer; however, there are opportunities to apply some coursework or the whole degree to a bachelor’s degree program.
