RAD 160 - Radiologic Clinical Practicum II

Radiologic Clinical Practicum II is the second of five supervised clinical experiences aimed at developing competency in radiological technology procedures, patient care, imaging, radiation protection and safety. Proficiency in fluoroscopy of the esophagus, upper gastrointestinal (UGI), lower gastrointestinal (LGI), small bowel series, Intravenous urography (IVU), and lower extremity proficiencies required. 

Note: Students must provide proof of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers, valid for the entire semester.

Articulation: 1.2

Prerequisite: RAD 150  with a grade of C or higher
Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in RAD 112 , RAD 113 , RAD 114 , and RAD 117
