GER 251 - Intermediate German I

Intermediate German I builds on Elementary German II and takes a cultural approach to the study of German. Students review previously learned grammar and structure, and refine their communication and comprehension skills. Cultural readers offer further insight into German culture, history and contemporary issues.

Prerequisite: GER 152  with a grade of C or higher, or two years of high school German with a grade of C or higher in both fall and spring semesters of the second year, or appropriate score on the College German Placement Test
