ANT 160 - Intro to Biological Anthropology 3 Credits Lecture: 3
Introduction to Biological Anthropology exposes students to the history and evidence for the bio-cultural evolution of humanity through DNA and population genetics, comparative primate behavior and anatomy, and ancient human fossil bone casts. The course also expolores human anatomical variations, from rare biological traits and genetic conditions to environmental adaptations in human populations. The course also covers forensic anthropology and the concept of race.
