Advanced Law Office Technology expands upon foundational law office technology skills and introduces advanced tools used in modern legal practice. Students gain hands-on experience with calendaring, docket control, case management systems, and litigation presentation software. The course also explores the ethical and effective use of artificial intelligence in the legal field, emphasizing the ability to distinguish AI outputs from traditional legal research. Additional topics include metadata management, electronic discovery, and best practices for maintaining confidentiality and compliance with professional standards.
