NUR 114 - Applied Nursing Fundamental Concepts 2 Credits Lab: 10
Applied Nursing Fundamental Concepts focuses on the introduction and development of entry level clinical skills for patients across the lifespan. Students learn, practice and validate skills in the lab and apply learned skills in the clinical setting.
Note: Prior to the first day of clinical, students must submit the following to the Nursing Department: current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification (CPR), the student health record requirements including physical form, vaccination record, drug screening and background check.
This course requires advanced reading, intermediate writing and intermediate math.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program (AAS in Registered Nursing) and completion of all required prerequisite courses. Corequisite: NUR 112 and NUR 115
