NUR 112 - Fundamentals of Nursing Theory

Lecture: 2

Fundamentals of Nursing Theory introduces the roles of the professional registered nurse based on the professional standards of nursing practice. The essential concepts of nursing practice including safety, legal and ethical principles, and holistic care are introduced for diverse patient populations through the lifespan.

Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program (AAS in Registered Nursing) and completion of the following prerequisite courses: BIO 255 , BIO 263 , BIO 264 , ENG 151 , HCE 110 , HCE 111 , KHS 250 , PSY 151 , PSY 250 , and COM 151  all with a grade of C or higher
