SON 170 - Sonography of Superficial Structures

3 Credits
Lecture: 2 Lab: 2

Sonography of Superficial Structures introduces students to the sonographic techniques for imaging superficial anatomical structures, including extremities, neck, breast, male genitalia, and neonatal conditions. Emphasis is placed on identifying normal and abnormal sonographic appearances and evaluating images to support accurate clinical diagnoses.

Prerequisite: SON 130  and SON 145 , both with a grade of C or higher.
