HVA 109 - Commercial Refrigeration Service and Installation 4 Credits Lecture: 2 Lab: 4
Commercial Refrigeration Service and Installation advances student knowledge concerning the principles, practices, use, service, and installation of commercial refrigeration equipment. Students will study the function and operational characteristics of commercial refrigeration equipment, its wiring, and safety procedures. Students will also develop an advanced understanding of types of refrigerants used in commercial refrigeration equipment. Training will also reinforce the proper use of tools, equipment, and HVAC service and diagnostic procedures. This course provides fundamentals for HVAC technicians to build upon as they pursue their HVAC educational and career goals. (1.2-Articulated)
