CNC Operator Level II Certificate

The CNC Operator Level II certificate builds on the knowledge and skills gained in the CNC Operator Level I certificate and provides students with more advanced skills to be a lead operator for both CNC lathes and mills. Students will gain hands-on experience while they produce precision parts and assemblies in a machine shop environment.

AET 158 - Geometric Tolerancing 3 Credits
CNC 105 - Manual Machining I 3 Credits
CNC 106 - Precision Machining I 3 Credits
CNC 155 - Precision Machining II 3 Credits
CNC 156 - Precision Machining III 3 Credits
CNC 157 - Precision Machining IV 3 Credits
IMT 104 - Blueprint Reading for Manufacturing 3 Credits
MAT 106 - Applied Mathematics I 3 Credits

Other Graduation Requirements

2.0 minimum cumulative GPA at MCC upon completion of program
For certificates of less than 12 credit hours, all required credits must be completed through MCC coursework. For all other certificates, one-half of the minimum credit hours required must be completed through MCC coursework.
Completion of graduate application
Completion of end-of-program assessment as directed by this department.
