Web Development Certificate

The Web Development Certificate is an all-encompassing program that merges both back-end and front-end development skills. On the back end, students will explore server-side processes and MySQL database design, while also getting hands-on experience with AWS cloud solutions. The front-end curriculum focuses on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an emphasis on responsive design, accessibility standards, and UI/UX principles. Graduates will be fully equipped for roles in both server/database management and front-end web development for web and mobile applications. This certificate program offers a comprehensive skill set, essential for launching a career in full-stack web development.

Other Certificate Graduation Requirements:


  • 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA at MCC upon completion of program
  • For certificates of less than 12 credit hours, all required credits must be completed through MCC coursework. For all other certificates, one-half of the minimum credit hours required must be completed through MCC coursework.
  • Completion of graduation application
