Computer Forensics Certificate

The Computer Forensics certificate trains students to identify and respond to network hacks and security breaches. This certificate prepares students to work with law enforcement to help gather evidence stored on computers and electronic devices for the purpose of criminal investigation. Students may choose to continue working toward an AAS in Criminal Justice.

Computer Forensic Certificate Requirements
Curriculum: OCC 194 Program Core: 15 Credit Hours
Total Certificate Credits: 15
Other Certificate Graduation Requirements:
- 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA at MCC upon completion of program
- For certificates of less than 12 credit hours, all required credits must be completed through MCC coursework. For all other certificates, one-half of the minimum credit hours required must be completed through MCC coursework.
- Completion of graduation application
