The Customer Service Certificate program prepares students with the competencies necessary to excel in customer-focused roles by developing essential skills in effective communication, problem resolution, relationship management, and ethical decision-making. Through coursework in customer service management, business communication, marketing, sales, management, and consumer behavior, students develop the skills necessary to provide exceptional customer experiences, adapt to diverse organizational settings and utilize technology to improve customer satisfaction and retention. Program graduates are prepared to contribute to the success of organizations within the business environment.

Customer Service Certificate Requirements
Program Core: 18 Credit Hours
Total Certificate Credits: 18
Other Certificate Graduation Requirements:
- 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA at MCC upon completion of program
- For certificates of less than 12 credit hours, all required credits must be completed through MCC coursework. For all other certificates, one-half of the minimum credit hours required must be completed through MCC coursework.
- Completion of graduation application
