WLD 151 - Introduction to Steel Fabrication 3 Credits Lecture: 1 Lab: 4
Introduction to Steel Fabrication teaches students the fundamentals of metal cutting, forming, layout and fitting. Students will create assemblies from industrial drawings conforming to industry standards. Emphasis will be placed on the safety, basic layout techniques, and final quality inspection of a completed product.
Note: This course requires basic reading, basic writing, and intermediate math. MAT 106 recommended prior to taking this course.
