WLD 122 - SMAW Vertical and Overhead

3 Credits
Lecture: 1 Lab: 4

SMAW Vertical and Overhead focuses on the shielded metal arc welding process on plate in the vertical and overhead positions to American Welding Society (AWS) quality criteria. Safety rules and proper equipment usage are emphasized. Oxygen acetylene cutting is also practiced.

Note: This course requires basic reading, basic writing, and intermediate math. MAT 106   recommended prior to taking this course.
