Studio Lighting I is an introduction to strobe and quartz lighting in the photography studio. Emphasis is on seeing and thinking in terms of light. Students learn to use lighting as a tool for personal expression. This course may be repeated twice for a maximum of 9 credit hours.

Note: Students will need either a film or digital camera for this course. This course requires basic reading, basic writing, and basic math.^{What does this mean?}
