AOT 132 - Database Systems I for Windows

Database Systems I for Windows is an introductory course that teaches beginning and intermediate features of Access. The course examines the purpose and function of a database management system. Topics include, creating a database, tables, adding, editing, and deleting records, creating beginning and advanced queries, generating and customizing reports, designing and customizing forms. Students may repeat this course once with different software packages for a maximum of 6 credit hours.

Note: To complete the work in this course, students will need a computer that runs a full current (still fully supported by Microsoft) version of Windows and a full version of Microsoft Office. Students will be able to install Microsoft Office at no additional cost. Students cannot complete this course on a tablet, Chromebook, or similar device that does not run a full version of Windows. This course will prepare students for the Access Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Exam. This course requires intermediate reading, basic writing, and intermediate math. Online courses require advanced reading.What does this mean?
