ARC 172 - Introduction to Design II 4 Credits Lecture: 2 Lab: 4
Introduction to Design II introduces the principles, concepts, and theories of architectural design and explores their spatial experience. Students learn methods of observation and documentation of the environment and their associated activities and behaviors. Students develop analog and digital techniques for analyzing and designing relationships between programs, people, and places to create design solutions to architectural problems.
Note: This course requires intermediate reading and writing, and basic math skills.
