HFE 106 - Tai Chi 1 Credits Lab: 2
Tai Chi is the ancient Chinese Martial Art referred to as the “Dance of Awareness in the Universe”. This class covers breathing and postural stances, functional movement patterns, and self-defense sequences of Tai Chi and Qigong. Students of all fitness levels learn to improve flexibility, strengthen muscles and the immune system, and increase both energy and relaxation.
Note: Comfortable clothing that will allow students to move their arms and legs in a standing position is recommended.
