IMT 200 - Computer Integrated Manufacturing I 2 Credits Lecture: 2
Computer Integrated Manufacturing I is the first of two courses covering computer technology in today’s manufacturing environment. This course focuses on how computers are used to control machines and manufacturing processes. It covers numerical control (NC), machine/process interfaces, CAD/CAM, and robotics. It also introduces students to the basic concept of computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) as it relates to machine/process control.
