DGM 115 - Content Creation for Digital Media

Content Creation for Digital Media introduces the fundamental processes of developing visual assets for a variety of digital media applications. Students create and prepare original content using hand drawing, bitmap, and vector tools while learning how to select appropriate formats and techniques for specific production needs. Emphasis is placed on creative problem-solving, technical workflow, and preparing assets suitable for use in animation, graphic design, video, and interactive media. Course includes vocabulary development, critical analysis activities, and reference to contemporary and professional models of digital media production.

Note: This course requires basic reading, writing, and math skills.
