SON 100 - Intro to Sonography and Patient Care

Intro to Sonography and Patient Care provides an introduction to the foundational concepts of sonography and essential patient care practices. Students will learn essential patient care skills, infection control, and emergency response, while exploring legal, ethical, and accreditation requirements for sonography careers. Basic principles of knobology and the functions of various healthcare professionals will also be covered.

Prerequisite: Acceptance into the program.
