CNC 115 - Manual Machining II 3 Credits Lecture: 2 Lab: 2
Manual Machining II gives students more experience with advanced-level manual machining skills used in metal manufacturing. Students learn machine shop safety and are introduced to advanced methods of operating drills, saws, surface and bench grinders, lathes, and mills. Students also learn inspection and quality assurance functions as they relate to a machine shop.
Note: This is a hands on course, so think safe and dress appropriate. Tie up long hair, wear short sleeve tucked in shirts, long pants, (no shorts) and full toed shoes. (no flip-flops)
