ART 247 - Large Format Photography

3 Credits

Large Format Photography is an introduction to both large format photography and photographic chemistry. The course centers on the use of 4 x 5 format cameras, metering and film processing. Students are also introduced to the formulation of film developers, toners and fixers. The goal of the class is for students to gain an understanding of large format photography as a tool for personal expression. This course may be repeated twice for a maximum of 9 credit hours.

Prerequisite: Credit with a grade of C or higher or concurrent enrollment in ART 241  or ART 250 , or written consent of instructor
